NYC offers endless possibilities for engagement portraits. Our favorite locations include Central Park for timeless romance, DUMBO for dramatic skyline views, the High Line for urban garden charm, and SoHo for its cobblestone streets and cast-iron architecture.

Planning a City Wedding Day
Every collection includes 10 hours of coverage. We usually begin about an hour and a half before the bride leaves her getting-ready location, then follow the day through the ceremony and reception. In the city, the biggest variable is travel time: a hotel suite in Midtown, a ceremony downtown, and portraits in a park can take longer to connect than couples expect.
We build traffic into your timeline and choose portrait stops that fit your day, usually one or two iconic locations close to your venue rather than a rushed tour of the city. When getting-ready locations are far apart, we recommend adding a second photographer so both sides are covered.
ONE TEAM
Photos and Film From the Same Studio
Photography and cinematography are handled under one roof at JS Visions, so the two teams coordinate all day instead of competing for the same angle. Photography collections start at $2,500, cinematography collections start at $2,500, and every photography collection includes an engagement session.
Your gallery is ready in about 6 to 8 weeks, color-corrected in-house by our own team. Your film and trailer follow about three months after you choose your music. We work in English and Spanish. See our wedding collections or our wedding films.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge extra for NYC weddings?
No. We serve New York City and Long Island at the same collection rates. There are no travel surcharges for weddings in any of the five boroughs.
How do you handle permits for NYC locations?
For standard wedding photography with a small group, most NYC public locations do not require a permit. For larger setups, we guide you through the process and handle logistics.
Can you photograph a City Hall elopement on short notice?
Yes! While we recommend booking early, we do accommodate last-minute City Hall elopements based on availability. Contact us to check our schedule.
Do you offer both photography and videography for NYC weddings?
Yes. Our photographers and cinematographers work as one team, so your timeline and coverage are planned together. Photography and cinematography collections each start at $2,500.
When will we receive our NYC wedding photos?
Your online gallery of high-resolution photos is ready about 6 to 8 weeks after your wedding, and every image is color-corrected in-house. Your wedding film follows about three months after you send us your music selection.
