We'll guide you on wardrobe, timing, and styling. Golden hour sessions are our favorite — that warm, magical light about an hour before sunset creates stunning images.
Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes. We keep things relaxed, fun, and natural — guiding you through poses while capturing genuine moments between the two of you.
Within 2–3 weeks, you'll receive a curated gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution images — perfect for save-the-dates, social media, and framing.

Yes! Every JS Visions wedding photography collection includes a complimentary engagement session. We also offer standalone engagement sessions for couples who haven't booked their wedding photographer yet.
Most engagement sessions last 60–90 minutes, which gives us plenty of time to explore your location, try different poses, and capture a variety of looks in natural light.
Every season is beautiful on Long Island. Spring brings cherry blossoms and fresh greenery. Summer offers golden beach sunsets. Fall delivers rich warm tones. Winter creates a romantic, intimate atmosphere. We recommend scheduling 6–8 months before your wedding.
We recommend bringing two outfits — one dressy and one more casual. Solid colors and neutral tones photograph beautifully. Avoid busy patterns and matching outfits. We'll send a detailed style guide after booking.
You'll receive 40–80+ professionally edited images from your engagement session, all individually color-corrected in-house and delivered within 2–3 weeks.
Absolutely! We love including pets. Some of our favorite engagement photos feature couples with their dogs. Just let us know in advance so we can plan the session accordingly.
