What’s Happening to Your Photos Right Now
The moment your wedding wraps, your images begin a careful journey. Every single photo is color corrected by hand, in-house, by our own team — never sent off to an outside vendor or run through an automated batch. This is the step that gives your gallery its signature look: rich, consistent, and unmistakably yours. It’s also the reason great photography takes a little time. We’d rather get it right than get it fast.
When Will Your Wedding Photos Be Available?
Your online wedding gallery — full high-resolution, non-watermarked images — will be ready approximately eight weeks (business days) after your wedding day. The exact timing can shift slightly with the season and holidays, which add production time during our busiest stretches of the year. When it arrives, you’ll be able to view, download, and share every image in stunning detail.
5 Things to Do While You Wait for Your Gallery
The wait is the perfect time to get a head start on the keepsakes you’ll cherish most. Here’s how to make it count:
- Start a shortlist of favorites. As you relive the day in your mind, jot down the moments you can’t wait to see — your first look, the toasts, that last dance.
- Plan your album story. Think about how you’d like your wedding to unfold across the pages, from getting ready to the grand exit.
- Choose your wedding film music. Your song selection is the key that starts your video timeline, so dreaming it up early keeps everything moving.
- Talk to your parents. Parent albums and reprints are popular — ask early so you can order everything together.
- Set aside time to review. When your gallery lands, you’ll want an unhurried evening to enjoy it and begin making selections.
How & When to Select Your Wedding Album Photos
Once you’ve reviewed your full gallery, you’ll choose the images for your wedding album. To make it simple, just send us the file number of each photo — it will look something like DSC_0001.jpg or JSV_0001.jpg. Use the same step for any extra images you’d like to add, purchase, or use for thank-you cards.
Our best tip: place your wedding album order within about three months of receiving your gallery. Ordering while the day is still fresh keeps the excitement alive and the process smooth — more on why that timing matters below.
When Will Your Album Be Ready?
After you submit your photo selections, we’ll prepare an album design layout for your approval in approximately one month. Once you send back your album approval, we place the order with our album makers. From that approval email, delivery typically takes three to four months. A handcrafted album is an heirloom — the book your family will be paging through for generations — and that craftsmanship is worth every day of the wait.
A Gentle Word About Timing
We completely understand that life gets busy after the wedding — new homes, honeymoons, and the happy whirlwind of married life have a way of filling the calendar. But there’s a real benefit to ordering your album and video while everything is still fresh.
Our albums and films are produced in the order they’re received. When a request comes in a year or two after the wedding date, it’s naturally placed in line behind every order that arrived before it — which can mean a noticeably longer wait for you. On top of that, our suppliers periodically raise their costs, and orders placed long after the wedding may be subject to those increases. Ordering within a few months of receiving your gallery keeps things moving quickly, helps you avoid added costs, and gets your finished pieces into your hands while the memories are still glowing.
Are All of Your Photos Retouched?
Every image in your gallery is professionally color corrected. Additional digital retouching is available on request for an added charge, depending on the amount of work and time involved.
A quick, honest note on the details: JS Visions isn’t responsible for vents, light switches, thermostats, or alarm devices that may appear on the walls of hotel rooms or venues. However, as a courtesy, we edit out distractions like exit signs, electrical outlets, and light switches from any photos intended for your album, so nothing pulls the eye away from you.
When Will Your Wedding Video Be Ready?
Your wedding film and trailer are delivered approximately three months after you provide your music selection. Choosing your songs is the moment that starts the clock — once we have your music, our editors begin shaping hours of footage into the cinematic story of your day. The same timing wisdom applies here: the sooner you share your selections, the sooner your film comes to life.
Can You Share Your Wedding Trailer on Social Media?
We know how tempting it is to post your trailer everywhere — and we love that you want to! Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, the music featured in your film is licensed for your personal enjoyment only and cannot be shared on social media of any kind. Think of your trailer as a private keepsake, made to be cherished and shown to family and friends.
