How far in advance should we book?

Most couples reach out 6–12 months before their wedding date, and earlier for peak season (May through October). If your date is sooner, contact us — we’ll check availability and do our best to accommodate.

What areas do you serve?

We’re based in Garden City, Long Island, and photograph weddings across Nassau County, Suffolk County, New York City (all five boroughs), Westchester, the Hamptons, Brooklyn, and Hudson Valley. For destinations beyond the Tri-State area, travel fees may apply — contact us for a custom quote.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. Our team is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, from your first inquiry through final gallery delivery. We have extensive experience photographing Quinceañeras, bilingual ceremonies, and multicultural celebrations.

How much experience does Jose have?

Lead photographer Jose Serrano has over 20 years of experience capturing weddings on Long Island, in NYC, and throughout the Tri-State area — across Catholic, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, Orthodox, Muslim, Quinceañera, and multicultural celebrations.

How do we book you?

Start by sending us a message or scheduling a consultation. We’ll confirm availability for your date, walk you through our collections, and help you choose the right fit. A signed agreement and retainer secure your wedding date on our calendar.

Collections & Pricing

How much do your wedding collections cost?

Wedding photography collections start at $2,500 and cinematography collections start at $2,300 — each with 10 hours of coverage. See our Investment page for all collections, inclusions, and customization options.

Is an engagement session included?

Yes — every photography collection includes a complimentary engagement session. It’s also a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day.

How long is wedding day coverage?

All of our wedding collections include 10 hours of coverage — typically enough to document getting ready through the reception. Additional hours can be added if your day runs longer.

Can we book photography and cinematography together?

Yes, and we recommend it. Photography and cinematography are handled under one roof at JS Visions — the two teams know each other’s rhythm, coordinate on the day, and never step on each other’s shots. Bundling also keeps your timeline simple and your planning in one place.

Can we customize a package?

Absolutely. Every wedding is different. You can add hours, a second photographer, a second cinematographer, albums, prints, canvas art, or additional services — we’ll build a quote around what you actually need.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. A retainer holds your date, and the remaining balance is spread across scheduled payments leading up to your wedding. Full details on the Investment page.

Do you include a second photographer?

Our I Love collection includes a second photographer. A second shooter can also be added to any other collection — we generally recommend it for weddings with 150+ guests, or when getting-ready locations are far apart from the ceremony venue.

After Your Wedding Day

When will our wedding photos be available?

Your online gallery — with high-resolution, non-watermark photos — will be ready approximately 6–8 weeks after your wedding day (excluding weekends and holidays). Turnaround may be slightly longer during peak season. Every photo is color-corrected exclusively in-house by our team; we never outsource.

How do we select photos for our wedding album?

Once you’ve reviewed your gallery, send us your selections using the file numbers (e.g., DSC_0001.jpg or JSV_0001.jpg). We recommend submitting your album order within 3 months of receiving your gallery to avoid potential price increases from our suppliers.

When will our album be ready?

After you submit your photo selections, we’ll send you a design layout for approval in about 1 month. Once you approve the layout, your finished album is delivered within 3–4 months.

Are all photos retouched?

Every photo in your gallery is color-corrected. Additional retouching — skin smoothing, blemish removal, etc. — is available upon request for an additional fee. As a courtesy, we also remove wall vents, exit signs, electrical outlets, and light switches from photos going into your album.

When will our wedding video be available?

Your wedding film and trailer are delivered approximately 3 months after you provide us with your music selection.

Can we share our wedding trailer on social media?

Due to copyright laws, the licensed music in your film is for personal enjoyment only and cannot be posted on social media. On request, we can create a social-friendly version set to royalty-free music that you’re free to share.

Is the video raw footage included?

Yes. Provide us with an external hard drive or flash drive (minimum 1TB) and we’ll transfer all raw footage at no additional charge.
